Ombudsmans Office

Pursuant to Art. 79 para. 1 FinSA, financial service providers are obliged to inform their customers about the possibility of a mediation procedure with the Office of the Ombudsman. When entering into the business relationship (a); in the event of the rejection of a legal claim asserted by the customer (b) and at any time upon request (c).

Sihl Capital GmbH has been affiliated with the Office of the Ombudsman for Financial Service Providers (OFD) since March 2021. The ombudsman is neutral and can provide competent information and act as an independent mediator in disputes. Expensive, time-consuming and often years-long court proceedings can thus be avoided.
